ALBERTVILLE, Ala., January 20, 2025 Howard Bentley Buick GMC has earned the number one selling GMC dealer in Alabama for 2024 with 43% growth, equating to the best vehicle sales year its history. Led by its first female dealer principal, Taylor Bentley Conner, who assumed the position in 2024, the dealership advanced General Motor’s Q4 sales which surged 21%, with gains in pickups, crossovers, and EVs. Howard Bentley Buick GMC led sales of GMC in Alabama to number one with a robust inventory of ICE and electric vehicles, and sales led by Sierra 1500 and Sierra 2500/3500 HD trucks. Additionally, exceptional performance in Buick transactions propelled the dealership to the top sales leader position, while also earning a spot among the top 10 GMC dealers nationwide.
“Customer demand across the state and nation for light duty and heavy-duty trucks like our GMC Sierra have moved the needle for us,” states Taylor Bentley Conner. “Our customer base continues to grow through return purchases and multigenerational family vehicle ownership. In fact, we have customers that have purchased vehicles from us for over 40 years and continue to today. While trucks have traditionally been sold to males, women continue to influence vehicle purchase even in this category.”
Located in the small town of Albertville, AL with a population of less than 25,000, Howard Bentley Buick GMC has nearly tripled its volume growth under Ms. Conner’s leadership as general manager since 2018. With customers extending across 46 states, the dealership attributes its sales leadership to an aggressive online model, robust inventory, and steady commitment to providing service to exceed the customer’s expectation.
